Join Us for LLAM’s August Program

Join us for LLAM’s August program featuring Dr. Jamie Walter, Director of Court Operations, Administrative Office of the Courts; and Dr. Ursula Gorham-Oscilowski, Lecturer at the University of Maryland, College Park, College of Information Studies.

Dr. Jamie Walter will be discussing best practices for the courts in tracking bond forfeitures, a major source of funding for court-related law libraries.  Dr. Gorham-Oscilowski will be discussing the College of Information Studies new Legal Informatics specialization.

This program will be of interest to all court law librarians and law librarians interested in learning about new developments at the intersection of library science and legal information services.

This is a BYO Brown Bag Lunch Program.

  • Location: Thurgood Marshall Law Library, Fourth Floor, Room 4403 (Francis King Carey School of Law University of Maryland, Baltimore, 500 W. Baltimore Street, Baltimore, MD 210201)
  • Parking: On-street parking is available. Visitors will also be able to park in the Grand Garage across from the Law School (5 N. Paca St.).  If the Grand Garage is unavailable, visitors may be able to park in the Pearl Garage (622 W. Fayette St.) or Lexington Market Garage (520 W. Lexington St.).
