Access to Justice gets high-tech!

Colin Starger, University of Baltimore law professor and honoree of 2014’s Fastcase 50, will talk about his Supreme Court Mapping Project.

Starger’s SCOTUS Mapping Project has created an innovative and free online tool to aid Supreme Court scholarship. This sophisticated mapping tool graphically visualizes and organizes citation networks between Supreme Court cases so that researchers can track Supreme Court precedent over time.

This project is part of the Free Law Project, which aims to provide free access to legal materials and research tools for those who can’t afford expensive databases like Lexis or Westlaw.
