Updates:
The day after the conference–updates and “to do’s”
Our area is home to some of our profession’s most talented and innovative librarians and library schools. LLAM’s Spring conference, Full Disclosure: Librarians Sharing Best Practices, will allow these librarians and library students to share their expertise and learn from colleagues.
Yes, that includes you!
Full Disclosure is not your ordinary library conference—by the end of the day participants will have heard at least a dozen librarians share their best practices in librarianship. To make this possible, presentation time is capped at 15 minutes. For those who find public speaking a challenge, this is an informal and easy way to share your expertise.
To kick off the event, Steve Anderson, Director of the Maryland State Law Library and AALL incoming Vice-President/President Elect, will join Maureen Sullivan, organization development consultant and ALA incoming Vice-President/President Elect, to address the conference opening and share their vision of librarianship in Maryland and beyond.
The conference will be held on Tuesday, March 20 at the University of Baltimore School of Law located in downtown Baltimore and within walking distance of Baltimore’s Penn Station. See our location page for details.
5.5 CEU credits will be available.
