Summary
This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration. The incumbent serves as a Supervisory Archives Specialist for the community management staff in the Office of Innovation reporting to the Director of the Digital Partnerships and Outreach Division. The incumbent serves as the first-line supervisor to staff that are responsible for overseeing programs related to promoting the improvement and use of the National Archives Catalog and other NARA online platforms.
Duties
As a SUPERVISORY ARCHIVES SPECIALIST, you will:
- Develop and monitor community engagement with NARA’s electronic and digitized holdings and performs measures in support of the overall goals and objectives of the Office of Innovation.
- Provide direct supervision to program staff and coordinate their activities with those of Office of Innovation staff to ensure excellent customer relations and stakeholder relations.
- Contribute to information technology systems development by analyzing and defining program requirements, communicating these requirements to systems developers, and coordinating deployment of information technology to supporting operations and customer services in the Office of Innovation program.
- Develop marketing materials and promote initiatives to familiarize stakeholders and the public with the services provided by the Digital Partnerships and Outreach Division staff and the Office of Innovation.
