Salary: $55,660.80 – $89,107.20 Annually

Collection Development is part of a Materials Management Division that centrally reviews, selects, acquires, catalogs, and processes all materials for a system that includes a Central Library and seven branches, with a budget of approximately $1.3 million, a collection of approximately 650,000 items, and a circulation of about 3 million per year.
In coordination with the Collection Development staff, the Youth Services Collection Development Librarian manages the centralized children’s and young adult collection development program for the library system. The incumbent will also ensure that collection directions and decisions are coordinated across age-levels and formats to meet current and anticipated needs of the Arlington community.
