Position Summary:

The Digital Resources Librarian reports to the Library Services Director and is responsible for managing and developing the Library’s systems and collections, as well as providing reference and information literacy instruction to the FCC community. The Digital Resources Librarian collaborates as part of the academic support team in the Learning Commons to ensure that daily operations and programming enhance students’ academic success, persistence, and completion.

Description
Serves as a research and instruction librarian and as liaison and subject specialist to the Department of History and related disciplines as assigned. Plans and teaches information literacy in liaison area and other disciplines. Participates in the development, implementation and assessment of a comprehensive, integrated information literacy program. Evaluates and selects resources for the assigned collection and related areas; creates instructional materials; provides research assistance and reference services to students, faculty and members of the university community and to the community at large
