We are looking for highly qualified/certified library media specialists for our Prince George’s county school library programs. At this time, we have only paired elementary schools (full time but you would be 0.5 at each school). If you are interested, please submit paperwork as soon as possible. Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) will host a recruitment fair to hire dynamic educators from across the nation who believe all children can achieve greatness. The fair will take place on July 27 from 8 a.m. to noon at Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School, located at 12650 Brooke Lane, Upper Marlboro, MD 20772.

Web Content Management Specialist
Location: Prince George’s County Memorial Library System Administrative Offices, 9601 Capital Lane, Largo, MD 20774

Salary: $21.31 per hour plus a generous benefits package.

Examples of Duties: Responsible for the content development and maintenance of all Library web pages using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Improves online usability and accessibility. Archives and backs up content. Installs and configures modules. Troubleshoots functionality issues. Configures and integrates the Public Catalog with website. Coordinates the work of content contributors. Keeps up-to-date with new technological developments. Delivers training programs to end-users at Library as needed. Provides support to staff and customers on issues relating to the Library’s website, online catalog and online resources and services. Keeps abreast of professional developments and seeks to continually improve performance. Performs other duties or responsibilities that are related to the position.
