Position: Part-Time Evening & Sunday Reference Librarians (2)

The George Mason University School of Law Library seeks two part-time reference librarians. The part-time reference librarians provide reference and research services to the law school faculty, staff, students, and public patrons.
Position 1 begins Wednesday, June 1, and works Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. (i.e., 7 hours of work per week).
Position 2 begins Sunday, August 14, and works Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. one week and Sunday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m.on alternating weeks. (i.e., 7 hours of work per week).
Requirements include an ALA-approved MLS, or an equivalent degree, and previous legal reference experience. A Juris Doctor (J.D.), experience in a law library, and enrollment in an MLS program may substitute for the MLS degree requirement. Teaching or training experience is also preferred.
