If you are an individual who has recently graduated from a qualifying educational institute or program and are interested in a rewarding and challenging career, consider applying for the Department of Justice Pathways (Recent Graduate) Program. This program enables individuals who lack experience to explore Federal civil service employment at the beginning of their careers. Agencies will have the opportunity to place recent graduates in a 1-year career development program and later for those who successfully complete the program, place them in either term or permanent competitive service positions. Graduates of Library Science is preferred.

The librarian is responsible for providing direction and guidance in one or more library locations or to a major library system or program ( such as cataloging, acquisitions, collection development and maintenance, reference and research, and internet/intranet services).
