In this position, you will perform archival duties involving reference, arrangement, description, evaluation, preservation, and rehabilitation, of classified and unclassified historical materials in the Office of Presidential Libraries in Washington, DC, preparing for the opening of the Barack H. Obama Presidential Library and Museum located in Chicago, IL.
The incumbent of this position will work in Washington, DC until the temporary Barack H. Obama Presidential Library and Museum in Chicago, IL is ready to be occupied. At that time the incumbent will be reassigned to Chicago, IL.
Relocation expenses will not be paid for the initial position in Washington, DC, however, some relocation expenses for the reassignment from Washington, DC to Chicago, IL will be paid.
