Crowell & Moring currently seeks a Manager, Online Resources for its Research Services and Library department. Reporting directly to the Director, Research Services, the online resources manager is primarily responsible for supporting firm wide information needs of all practice groups and departments. The manager in this role manages the collection of online research resources & tools, responding to changing research and information needs and aligning resources with patron needs.

Job Responsibilities:

-Coordinates selection, licensing, implementation, outreach and continual support of online research resources.
-Plans and carries out effective implementation of new online resources as well as online resource upgrades and changes.
-Acts as liaison to practice groups and administrative departments to identify information needs. Helps coordinates identification and/or review of new online resources.
-Facilitates access to online resources; enhancing the Intranet to meet the changing needs of users.
-Provides end user support and training to help maximize use of research resources & technology.
-Assists with online resource purchasing and negotiating of licensing agreements;.
-Fosters professional and fruitful relationships with information vendors.
-Supports utilization of and integration of current awareness tools.
-Assists in development, updating and maintenance of resource tracking system; analyzes usage reports; run appropriate statistics to support license and purchase decisions.
-Responds to questions from attorneys and staff regarding library systems and resources; works with IS department to resolve technical issues that arise.
-Recommends additions of print and online sources to the Research Services collection, maintaining a focus on trends in patron requests and interests.
-Performs other special projects or duties as needed.
