Library Branch Coordinator

Ensures the effective and efficient operation of assigned branches, including the supervision of 11 or more branch managers. Coordinates policy and procedure implementation. Works with administrative and other staff to resolve operational, management and employee relations issues. Acts as a liaison between branch and administrative staffs. Responds to suggestions and complaints from citizens.

Examples of Duties: Incumbent provides advanced analysis of business intelligence to measure organizational performance tied to community outcomes. Specific responsibilities include: leading studies of library services and operational effectiveness; collecting statistics and data from various sources to compiles reports; identifying library performance standards and monitoring progress; analyzing and interpreting data to identify patterns and customer preferences; supporting library planning process; identifying and communicating variances in performance metrics to senior staff; exploring new research techniques and continually improving data collection process in order to demonstrate value and ROI; and performing additional related duties in order to meet the needs of the department, library and system.
