The George Mason University Law Library invites applications for a part-time Reference Librarian vacancy.
The part-time Reference Librarian provides reference and research services to Law School faculty, staff, students and public patrons during the business day. The position also includes meeting with law students to provide research assistance for students writing law journal notes and comments during the Fall semester.
Requirements include an ALA-approved MLS, or an equivalent degree, and previous legal reference experience. A Juris Doctor (J.D.), experience in a law library, and enrollment in an MLS program may substitute for the MLS degree requirement. Teaching or training experience is also preferred.
This position begins August 3, 2015.
