Vacancy #13-30, Assistant Branch Manager II – Children’s Services – Bel Air Branch

Responsible for assisting with managing the operations, activities and staff of the branch; directly supervises reference staff, including substitutes and volunteers, as assigned; oversees the training of reference staff; provides reference, collection and reader’s advisory services to the public; oversees, plans and implements children, young adult and adult programs; and works on reference desk as required.  Meets minimum public service hours as defined by Library Administration.



Vacancy #14-05, Library Associate III – Rolling Reader – Edgewood Branch

Performs a variety of reference services and tasks in assisting children with books and other resources for their recreational needs; manages specialized collections and programs for Rolling Reader; drives and operates outreach van to various designated community outreach sites throughout Harford County; acts a liaison between the centers and library branches; may work on reference desk as assigned; performs other duties as assigned.  Meets minimum public service hours as defined by Library Administration.
