Academic Technology and Associate Head Librarian

St. Albans School of Washington, DC, is looking for an Academic Technology Specialist/Associate Head Librarian beginning in Fall 2013. Duties include providing academic technology consultations for faculty, organizing professional development in effective use of classroom technology and information media, managing library circulation and collection development, helping to supervise library reading room, advising students on research strategies, and—in keeping with its ideals—promoting the library as a positive resource for faculty and students alike. Qualifications: MEd in Educational Technology, MLS, or equivalent; keen knowledge of technology trends in education; background in library management; classroom teaching experience at secondary school level preferred; ability to work comfortably and effectively in a boys high school; ability to effectively engage with faculty in all disciplines.
