Vacancy #13-12, Assistant Branch Manager – Fallston Branch or Havre de Grace Branch
The Assistant Branch Manager is responsible for assisting with managing the operations, activities, and staff of the branch; directly supervises hourly reference staff, including reference substitutes and volunteers as assigned; oversees the training of reference staff; provides reference, collection and readers’ advisory services to the public; oversees, plans and implements children, young adult and adult programs; and works on reference desk as required. Meets minimum public service hours as defined by Library Administration.
Vacancy #13-14, Assistant Manager II/Head Cataloger
Assistant Manager II/Head Cataloger will assist with managing day-to-day operations, activities, and workflow of the Technical Services Department; directly supervises and oversees training for assigned staff or volunteers. Maintains and oversees all data entered into the bibliographic databases; creates original bibliographic records; monitors copy-cataloged records; interprets cataloging standards and implements procedures, acts as in-charge person of Technical Services Department when Manager is unavailable.
